Chitta katha lake

CHITTA KATHA LAKE








Chitta Katha Lake is located in shonter valley, a sub valley of Neelam Valley at the altitude of 4100 meter. The lake is accessible from Kel by a 20 km jeep track and then 5 km hiking trek. Kel is the base camp to this lake.

Kashmir waterfall is famous spot in Muzaffarabad due to waterfall and had to cross river to reach it,basically this waterfall is in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa KPK but the only way to approach is from side of Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir.
Temperature in Summer: 25-35 degree centigrade.

Cultural Heritage places (Red Fort)

About 100 years ago Muzaffarabad was the shahi dynasty and had very rich kashmiri culture. Some of ruins of the shahi dynasty still exists like Red fort Muzaffarabad.

Neelum valley is a 144 km long thick forested region in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) in Pakistan administered Kashmir. It is named after the Neelum River. The Valley is situated in the North-east of Muzaffarabad, running parallel to Kaghan Valley. Neelum valley and Kaghan Valley are only separated by snow-covered peaks over 4000 meters above sea level.
The valley is connected from Muzaffarabad by Neelum Road, Which leads up to KEL. The road condition from Muzaffarabad to Athmuqam is very good and suitable for any kind of transport. From Keran to Kel road condition is not well and not suitable for low floor vehicles.
